What’s up with that Sakura?
You also said that my article about Barrick Gold was ‘full of lies’. Can you please quantify what those ‘lies’ were? If I got something wrong, I’d like to make a correction.

I remember reading about Occupy Toronto’s yurts back when they were “donated” last year. One part of me was envious- where were Occupy Vancouver’s yurts! That said, it made sense to donate them to Occupy Toronto, as they definitely needed it for the city’s colder weather!

ProtestBarrick.Net: An Example of How Soros Could Profit From Activism
UPDATE: There was a mistake in this story, it turns out my sources were wrong, ProtesBarrick didn’t run their funding through TIDES (though Saunders has worked for a number of TIDES funded organizations). The money actually runs through the Mennonite Church of Canada.
Today I’m going take a momentary break from discussing the Robocall rallies and will shift into a different discussion about George Soros & the TIDES foundation– a look into how Soros could make large profits from the activities of environmental activists!

All’s Quiet on the Occupy Front
We had a long march today against the police violence that happened to an Occupier one week ago. The crowd was a mix of Occupiers and a large number of Black Bloc. Despite a lot of tension, all ended up being peaceful.

We had a mix of police on bicycles, horses and some cars. At one point, just off Younge St, it seemed they were ready to kettle us- however, nobody was arrested. They were ready for it though, had a paddy wagon trailing us for a couple of hours…
The march ended at St. James Park at around 8pm. There was a sense of kinship and collective relief as we gathered in the Gazebo.
We then walked down to Cloud Gardens, the location of our new occupation after our eviction from Osgoode Hall. It is a lovely space- grass, flowers, nice lighting and a white noise in the background from a waterfall.
All’s well that ends well…
