Oh, the irony!
TMC are mostly anarchists- so much of their content is thoroughly anti-police. If they had their way there never would have been any police, nor police cars, in our society. Considering this, I’m wondering if any of them can see the irony in their article titled Auto Manufacturing Workers at a Crossroads.
Did they actually print an article mourning the death of the police car factory? Really?

Dictatorship – Stephen Harper Style…
I don’t believe that Harper is a dictator- quite the opposite. To call Harper a dictator would be an insult to history’s great dictators. A better description for him would be a Dictaphone. He records what his masters (and sometimes his constituency) ask for and he plays it back to the people. If not a Dictaphone, perhaps he’s more of a dummy on the knee of the 1%?
But say, for argument, that Harper actually became a dictator. What would a right-wing Christian dictator who likes hugging kittens be doing differently than he is today? Let me share some ideas with you.

I crossed paths with a friend yesterday- someone who makes eagle-eyed observations on the social structure of Toronto’s activist community. They said that people accept the tactics of all others because they must ally in solidarity against ‘the system’. This means so very many different things. The range of actions could be anything from riding unicycles, to doing banner drops, fighting with and baiting the police, claiming fake mass graves, assault, smashing windows or cheating the government for grant money.
How is that going for us so far? Has it been productive?

Lydia White Calf is the wife of a residential school survivor who put a lot of her time and energy into supporting Kevin Annett. She has given him 10’s of thousands of dollars to fund his personal expenses, travel expenses and the printing of his self-published books. Over time, Lydia realized that Kevin was not behaving in a way she would expect of a ‘reverend’ who said he was working on the survivor’s behalf. When she spoke out, he labelled her as a ‘black ops’ operative- does that sound familiar?
