Letter From A Fauxhawk (featuring Jayson Fleury!)

I woke up this morning to find I got a message from Jayson Fleury- you may remember him from my story about Occupy Toronto’s ‘sacred’ fire. If you’ve been around activist circles in Toronto or Vancouver, chances are you’ve run across this guy. Have a look at his letter, and my response below. This could …

Occupy Toronto’s Anarchist Brandon Gray And His Chequered Past!

I’ve been sitting on this story since March, as I didn’t have enough evidence to make a conclusive connection. Despite the attacks of those who don’t like what I am writing (I’m talking about you Sakura Saunders), I do try my best to get the facts straight before I publish…

Montrealers! Unhappy About Bill 78? Blame It On The Bloc!

The city of Montreal has passed Bill 78 by a margin of 33-2- banning the use of masks in demonstrations. The bill also requires protesters to provide the authorities with planned routes for their demonstrations eight hours before they are initiated. The law comes across to many as draconian…

My Letter To Archbishop Hiltz About Last Week’s Incident

Despite the fact the incident at the Church of the Holy Trinity last week was deeply disturbing on a very personal level, I am trying to look at the positive side. Perhaps, if the church is merciful, this will be a good first step in making things right…

Will Occupy Toronto Occupy Prince Charles?

One week from today we will be visited by Prince Philip. I’ve heard from three sources now that there is some sort of plan to interrupt his visit. I figured there would be- but, now it seems like it is confirmed. I bet Maggie Helwig’s face is red now!

News Flash! No Wonder The Occupy Montreal Jail Solidarity Was So Dumb! (featuring Brandon Gray)

I noticed this last night, but didn’t post until I could get confirmation. It has been confirmed this morning that Brandon Gray (not his real name, to be released later) was on-sight at Occupy Montreal’s Jail Solidarity event I wrote about in my last article. No wonder it was such a PR negative event!
