Okay, so imagine for a moment that you’re on the funding committee of a government funded-organization. You’re name is Bob, and you’re one of the lucky dozen people who’ve been chosen to help approve funding & grant applicants. Bob’s all excited to be involved on such an important task. But, then, he realizes he’s stepped into a trap- the big boss’s wife is one of the applicants.
Bob’s got that feeling you get when you’ve just felt the dog pooh oozing around your new cotton sandals…

Dear Kevin,
I saw you published your letter about being barred from the UK by the Queen and her satanic henchmen! (well, that and you’ve been banned entry for misuse of a tourist visa.) So, does this mean that you are nervous that HM Immigration are now aware of the fact you’ve previously smuggled yourself into Wales by ferry? They may be aware at all ferry terminals Kevin- your Canadian passport will make it easy to point you out.

I’ve been thinking about October 15th, the one-year anniversary for Canadian occupations. What were people thinking back when it happened, how do those from the outside view it now?
So, while searching for some things today, I came across this comment from an article on the Georgia Strait from October 7th. The article is about the launch of Occupy Vancouver- this guy’s comment is a classic.

Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria – He got shot then 37 million people died.
I was at St James Park yesterday, about to do something rather fun and exciting. A friend sent me a message that Canada’s withdrawing diplomatic staff from Iran. It felt a lot like the moment I learned about 9/11 from an email. All that it said was “I guess we’re at war now”. I’ve been a bit shaken by the news ever since.

Kevin Annett: MIA
Where has Kevin Annett gone to? He had a meeting at the Pro-Cathedral in Dublin with a Father Damien but he didn’t show-up. One has to wonder what has happened with him. Have the Guarda put a fake Kevin Annett in front of a camera with a leprechaun and a crack pipe? Perhaps he’s been arrested after being setup by the pope’s evil cabal?
