Open Letter to Maryam Monsef: I’ve Shown You Mine, Now You Show Me Yours!
Hi Maryam,
I’ve been watching the media’s coverage of your “birthergate” controversy closely since it began. I don’t envy you right now, politics is a dirty game. That said, you seem like a smart cookie, so I’m guessing you knew what you stepped into when you decided to launch your campaign.
If we’ve learned anything from Barak Obama’s experience with his own “birther” incident it’s that questions like these can be corrosive, and disruptive to the real business at hand. Part of Obama’s challenge was self-created. He could have nipped the issue in the bud if he released his birth certificate back in 2008 when Hillary Clinton’s people kicked-off their whispering campaign. His decision to wait until 2011 to release his birth certificate was a serious mistake.

Free Speech Students Publish Powerful Open Letter to University of Toronto Administration
Update: The students have setup a change.org petition, if you support their cause please click here and sign!
Frustrated by the media and administration’s one-sided response to Jordan Peterson’s October 11 free speech rally, a group of concerned University of Toronto students gathered together to draft a response. It’s a brilliantly written letter that outlines the racism, violence, and defamation they were subjected to for daring to publicly speak their views on political correctness.
The students have challenged the university to respond to their mistreatment, demanding that the administration takes a non-partisan approach to political conflicts and take action to once again make the University of Toronto a safe place for people to express their thoughts. Posted below is the full text of their powerful open letter:

Exclusive: UofT Free Speech Opponent Arrested for Assault (Feat. “Smugglypuff”)
If you’re one of the unfortunate people who relied on mainstream media reports from outlets like CityNews and the Globe & Mail – or the intentionally unbalanced reports by the campus Varsity newspaper – it’s likely you have a complete misunderstanding of what happened that day.
One of the most memorable moments of the protest was when Rebel Media’s Lauren Southern was assaulted by a trans woman who tried to grab away her microphone. Moments later, a protester who the Internet named “Smugglypuff” blatantly lied to police officers claiming that nothing happened. But Smugglys story doesn’t end there, turns out he/she/xe/ve/thon/hu/ge/zee is now facing criminal charges- but not for the reason you might think.
