I spent time with Ken Livingston when I was working on the design of London’s Congestion Charging system- “Red Ken” is a tenacious, far-left, shit-disturber who is never afraid to speak his mind. Nigel Farage is a far-right member of European Parliament who brings life to what is normally a rather staid institution.
Most people agree that something doesn’t seem right about the DTES Missing Women’s Inquiry. All of the focus has been on Robert Pickton, a man with an IQ of 86, who conveniently owned a pig farm. Yet, there has been little discussion of the elephant in the room- that Pickton lived across the street from an illegal after-hours “booze can” run by the Hell’s Angels.
You’d think that would have been the focus of the investigation- right? Well, it wasn’t. From what I can see, this was only brought-up twice during the hearings- and both incidents are rather suspicious…

I was involved with the early stages of putting together FreeGeek in Vancouver– it was an exciting cause that I couldn’t help but jump into when I heard about the first meeting. I moved to Montreal by the time things really got rolling- but, watching from afar, I got my first taste of seeing a non-profit get attacked by many of the same people who were involved in the hijacking of Occupy Vancouver. I didn’t follow the people back then, but I did see the effect. “Safe space” politics were a large part of the disruption at both.
Shortly after I moved to Toronto I found a very interesting website called causepimps.ca. And, wow, did this site ever open my eyes! Suddenly, everything I saw that happened at Occupy Vancouer & FreeGeek made a lot more sense. And, as you now know, Occupy Toronto was also hijacked….
Today I start the first of a series of articles called “Liars, Damned Liars &…” where I will be chronicling stories of people who have issues with being honest. As anyone who has been near them can attest- lefty politics can be dirty and downright nasty as it gets.
