Jan Longboat – Six Nations elder, traditional herbalist, and teacher…
One of the people who Kevin Annett slandered in his letter last night was Jan Longboat. Of all the people who Annett has attacked, his attack on Longboat is one of the most disturbing. From everything I can see she is a truly great woman- Longboat is a teacher, herbalist and caregiver who has dedicated her life to learning and helping others. She also seems to be a rather sensible woman who was brave enough to stand-up to Annett’s lies about his work on the Six Nations reserve.

Corbin Dates talks with CNN about a possible accomplice…
Okay, here’s a second person being interviewed that James Holmes may have had an accomplice. Corbin Dates explains how a man in the the far-right corner of the theatre, in the audience, got a phone call, then went to the emergency exit and propped the emergency exit open. Then Holmes burst through the door, threw in his tear gas canister.

Kevin Annett – Bush Turkey…
Someone sent me an article about bush turkeys this morning- I couldn’t think of a better analogy for Kevin Annett if I had to. Bush turkeys are found in Australia, and are common pests found near suburban gardens. The male bush turkey’s job is to build a large mound consisting of garden compost, dirt and manure- as the mound decomposes, it gets warm enough to incubate eggs. And, according to the article, “If you’ve got a brush turkey building a mound in your backyard, it’s no use chasing it away or removing the mound. The bird will only doggedly return and start all over again. Their urge to nest is unstoppable.”

Witness to shootings who said James Holmes may have had an accomplice…
It is very possible that the person in this interview is guessing wrong- after all, there was probably a lot of confusion in the theatre. But, he says clearly that “from what we know he wasn’t alone…the second can of tear gas didn’t come from his side.” Very interesting…

Kevin Annett – The man is hurting indigenous communities…
If Kevin Annett was hired to create division in indigenous communities he is doing his job quite well. Everywhere he goes he leaves a trail of destruction and pain. If things weren’t bad enough for people having to endure the legacy of the residential schools, they now have to deal with a man who will stop at nothing to keep his deception flowing.
