James Holms – Killed 12 & Infured 50 at a Colorado movie theatre…
A man who burst into a Colorado theatre with guns blazing is being speculated to be an Occupier who is a member of the Black Bloc. James Holmes, 24 years old, is a drop-out Ph.D. student from the the University of Colorado’s School of Medicine. He threw a canister of (suspected) tear gas into the theatre and shot randomly into the crowd, killing 12 people and injuring 50.
The movie playing was the new Batman film, The Dark Knight rises- the film portrays the Occupy movement in a negative way. There is speculation that he was a member of the Occupy movement and was involved with Black Bloc actions- this has yet to be confirmed.
Holmes was caught by police, wearing a gasmask, black clothes and apparently a bulletproof vest. Later, when police when to investigate his apartment, they found it was booby-trapped with sophisticated explosives. The apartment is currently being disarmed by police bomb specialists, and residents in the building may not be able to go home today.

He probably found something uncomfortably close to home. He might even have misdiagnosed himself. It’s common in first year medical students when they go through ‘bugs and drugs’ training – they suspect every pathology applies to themselves. Holmes might have seen his own flaws characterized, or just assumed he possessed some awful trait when in fact he didn’t. Either way it seems more than coincidental in terms of timing.
But the 24-year-old performed poorly on his comprehensive tests this spring. He was in serious academic trouble, according to a faculty member who spoke on condition of anonymity. His solution was to quit. The school said Friday that Holmes was in the process of withdrawing from the program.

Failure of what? What you call speculation I am calling a confirmed link, try hitting google up or wait for greg to write something about it and he’ll link the relevant stuff. What I’ve seen on the net suggests to me that the description is accurate. There has always been something fishy about Occupy pairing up with black bloc. Not surprised it’s a university student, not surprised in the least that is a very distinct pattern with this communist recruiting operation called occupy.
Notice the part in the article where Greg specifically uses the word speculate?

hmmm, this is unusual even for you mr. quantify. I agree a google search turns up the same “theories” and “assumptions”, but really that’s all they are without “real” proof or evidence. One thing that a lot of people bash me on is grouping certain personal actions or attacks as representation of the group, ex- police, politicians, black bloc, anarchists ect… Or I guess we can all agree with the crap vic said something like “… either stand with us or with the child pornographers”. Don’t group my former mask wearing ass with shooting up a movie theatre or other assaults on innocent people. scrambles with police excluded, all in good fun as long as NO WEAPONS! are involved :) :(

I’ve had several hundred people come here searching about Black Bloc and Occupy on Google. I figured I’d set the record straight that it is only speculation…
I can’t say that I’m with you on this one, Greg. I don’t feel this is responsible speculation. I’ve looked into these claims, and they seem to me to be based almost entirely on some person — I get the sense that they, like me, are a conservative, though I don’t support them in this — searching through random Occupy videos until they found something that they thought looked an awful lot like Holmes.
My gut tells me that this person is either a Joker copycat, an attention-seeker, or more likely both.

Yep, the more I hear about this speculation, the more I feel it isn’t true. I wrote this story because several hundred people were visiting my site this morning searching “occupy black bloc”. I got as much information as I could at the moment and put this story together so I could at least give people the message that it is speculation. Time will tell…
ABC News claimed he was a Tea Party activist, you are claiming he’s an “Occupier” but no one has any evidence. People need to calm down and wait for the facts to emerge rather than rush to exploit this politically.
Sorry, Greg, you know how I feel about the BB but one thing I truly believe in is hanging a man for the thief he is, not the liar he isn’t. I have yet to see any thing reliable to even suggest he was much of an activist in any way. Credible links and I will change my opinion.
