Kate Gram – Asserole
A fellow Occupier came to me last night, expressing her concern that the people involved in the Asseroles (sic) were faking some of their injuries. The thought has resonated in my mind since then- but, it wasn’t until I saw a video of Kate talking about her experience that it hit me this was real.
Kate was part of the problem at the last Casseroles march- she pushed her way in between the police and the people who were being arrested, and she actually hit one of the cops who was doing their jobs. It is amazing that she actually wasn’t arrested herself!
Jay Peachy (who I’ll be writing about soon) , who leads the TIDES Canada / Soros anti-salmon farming initiative, filmed an interview with Kate. Here, have a look:
Now, this isn’t solid evidence that Kate is lying, but it sure seems that way. So, instead of passing judgement on Kate, I will leave her with a challenge. Publish your hospital report! If your injuries are true, this should be easy! And, if I’m wrong, I apologize.
That said, watching the video of your behaviour- it seems to me that you acted like a banshee that day. Nobody deserves to get hurt in any circumstances, but it sure seems like you weren’t trying to avoid it…

If, and that’s a big IF, she was hurt, she did it to herself. You don’t attack police officers and expect to be unscathed. Frankly, I don’t for the life of me understand, why the hell this woman was not arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer and interfering with an arrest. She should be thanking the police for going easy on her!

In a country where the majority of police are violent she would have had the crap beat out of her. Kate’s behaviour is disrespectful to all of the people out there working to stop real police violence…
Yeah, that was not a broke arm. At best she would have sprained/broken her wrist. Seems awfully mobile for someone who just had her ribs cracked too.

I assessed her broken wrist (and did initial treatment) and possible cracked ribs. I have over a decade of first aid experience and i teach first aid…. Your weak ass attempts to discredit are exactly that.

If this is true, all she has to do is produce a copy of the hospital report and we will believe her. Your word Mathew, and $2.50, will buy a Skytrain ticket…

Yes, that was Matthew acting like a childish banshee banging his pot in the police officer’s face- what an asshole!
Remember Sasha Wiley’s story about having her hand ‘broken’ by the police? Well, it too may be a lie. She admits in this video that her arm binding was done by Mathew, and not by a hospital or nurse in the jail.

So, either Mathew has an x-ray machine at home, or this story seems to have been embellished. Because, if Sasha’s hand was really broken she would have gone to the hospital and had a report written up so that she could file a complaint against the police.
Want to take a guess at who put the binding on Kate’s arm???
I have more injuries after a day of roofing, for Christs sake.

I would too. All it would take is a scan of a copy of her hospital report. And, while she’s at it- perhaps she can explain why it was acceptable for her to be shoving and hitting the police?
I have heard that Mathew Kagis and Sasha Wiley-Shaw are in a relationship. This has me a bit skeptical. My children have had broken bones..trust me, I know a fake when I see it..
I wonder which organization does Mathew teach first aid for.

Apparently Sasha has changed her story now. In her original story she said that she had broken her hand. And, now, she says that her hand was sprained.
Considering this massive change, I’m reluctant to believe anything she says about her arrest. This initial embellishment may be indicative of the rest of her story…
